Luis Stabinski

Mark is a trial lawyer who joined our firm in November, 2008. Mark brings 34 years of litigation and trial experience to the firm. He has been a member of the Florida Bar Association since 1975 and eligible to practice in all trial and appellate courts of this state, he is also admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida; and the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida; and the United States Court of Appeals, Eleventh Circuit.

In addition, Mark is a member of the American Bar Association, American Association for Justice (formerly known as the American bar Association), American Trial Lawyers Association and The Florida Academy of Florida Trial Lawyers.

Mark specializes in the areas of personal injury and wrongful death, admiralty and marine (passenger and crew member cases), premises liability, medical malpractice, insurance bad faith, uninsured motorists’ claims, class actions related to public liability and first party insurance disputes.

Mark has been involved in numerous personal injury cases with verdicts or settlements well in excess of $1,000,000.00. He has established Florida law reversing a trial court’s ruling of no coverage in an uninsured motorist case where an accident was caused by roadway debris, Denoia v. Hartford Fire Insurance Company, 843 So. 2nd 284 (3rd DCA 2003) and established Florida law on interpretation of insurance contracts and incontestability clause, DiFranco v. National Foundation Life Insurance Company, 551 So. 2nd 535 (3rd DCA 1989).

Mark is a graduate of the University of Florida (Bachelor of Arts & Sciences in Accounting, 1971) and the John Marshall School of Law in Chicago, Illinois where he graduated in August, 1974, finishing first in his class.

Mark has been a resident of the State of Florida since 1951. He and his wife have been married for 39 years, have two married daughters and two grandchildren. We are proud to have him as a member of our community and our firm.
